What Copilot can do

Ask Evenpay Copilot about your compensation data and let it carry out tasks you confirm.

Early Access: turn this on in Settings → Organization → Early access.

Evenpay Copilot is an AI assistant for your compensation and pay equity data. Ask questions in plain language, and Copilot looks up the answer in your Evenpay data and shows it as tables and charts. It can also prepare changes for you to confirm.

Where: Copilot in the sidebar

Turn it on

  1. An administrator opens Settings → Organization → Early access.

  2. Turn on Copilot (AI assistant).

  3. Copilot appears in the sidebar. The first time you open it, read the Welcome to Copilot notice and select Got it, let's go.

What you can ask

  • "Which positions have the largest pay gaps?"

  • "How does our engineering team compare to market P50?"

  • "Show me employees with pay equity alerts"

  • "What should we pay a new senior engineer?"

Copilot can answer questions about pay gaps (overall, by position or by org unit), alerts, compa-ratio, pay bands, market benchmarks, job architecture, benefits, custom fields, your compliance readiness and evaluation status, and pay rationales.

Changes Copilot can make

Copilot can prepare changes such as creating job grades, levels or families, adding benefits, setting custom field values, moving positions, creating a merit cycle, running an analysis or completing a compliance task. It never makes a change on its own: each one is shown as a proposal you approve with Confirm action, and many can be reversed with Undo. You can also upload a CSV file of up to 10 MB.

Good to know

  • Copilot is available to administrators. Managers and employees don't see it.

  • Copilot only answers questions about your compensation and HR data in Evenpay. It doesn't give legal advice or answer general questions.

  • Pay gap answers cover the gender pay gap only.

  • Don't type salaries or other personal information into the chat; Copilot already has access to the data it needs.

  • You can delete your conversations.

  • See Copilot, AI and your data for how your data is handled.
