Benchmarks

The Benchmarks settings page is where you import external salary survey data to compare your organization's compensation against market rates. Navigate there via Settings → Benchmarks.

Benchmark Data

Benchmark datasets allow you to see how your salaries stack up against market data — useful for identifying whether your pay ranges are competitive and for supporting compensation decisions during hiring or salary reviews.

To add a benchmark dataset, click + Add Dataset. This opens the Create Dataset dialog where you provide:

Field

Description

Name (required)

A descriptive name for the dataset, e.g. "Mercer Finland 2024"

Description

Optional notes about the dataset source or scope

Provider

The survey provider (e.g. Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, Radford)

Currency

The currency the benchmark data is denominated in

Effective Date

The date the survey data is valid from — used to match benchmark data to the right time period

After filling in the details, click Create & Import Data to proceed to the data import step where you upload the survey file.

Once datasets are loaded, benchmark comparisons appear in compensation views throughout Evenpay, allowing you to see where each position's salary band sits relative to market percentiles.
