Personal Settings in Evenpay

Personal settings in Evenpay control your individual account — how the platform looks and behaves for you specifically, independent of your organization's settings. Access your personal settings by clicking your profile icon in the top right corner and selecting Profile settings.

Profile

The Profile section has two subsections: Basic Information and Contact Details.

Basic Information

  • Profile Image — upload a photo to help teammates identify you. Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, or GIF. Maximum file size: 5MB. Click Change Image to upload a new photo.
  • Display Name — the name shown throughout the Evenpay interface. Edit the field and click Update Profile to save.

Contact Details

Your email address is displayed here with a Verified badge once confirmed. Your email is managed through your identity provider and cannot be changed directly within Evenpay.

Security

The Security section covers your password and two-factor authentication.

Password

Your password is managed through your identity provider (such as Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace). To reset your password, click the Reset Password button — you'll be directed to your identity provider's password reset flow.

Two-Factor Authentication (MFA)

When MFA is enabled at the organization level, all users are required to set it up before accessing the system. If you haven't configured MFA yet, you'll be prompted to do so immediately after signing in.

To set up MFA on your account, click Set up MFA and follow the steps. Once configured, you'll need to enter a one-time code in addition to your login credentials each time you sign in.

Preferences

Preferences let you control how information is displayed in your Evenpay account.

Language

Choose your display language from the dropdown. Currently available languages:

  • 🇺🇸 English
  • 🇫🇮 Suomi (Finnish)
  • 🇮🇹 Italiano (Italian)

Your language preference applies to the interface only and does not affect how documents or reports are generated.

Salary Display

Control how salary figures appear throughout the application. These settings are personal — they only affect your view, not what other users see.

Setting

Options

Salary Display Mode

Monthly or Annual

Thousands Separator

Space (50 000), Comma (50,000), or Dot (50.000)

Decimal Places

No decimals (50 000) or Two decimals (50 000.00)

A live Preview at the bottom of the section shows exactly how an example salary will appear with your chosen settings. Click Save Preferences to apply your changes.

Danger Zone

The Danger Zone section contains your account deletion option.

Delete Account

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. To confirm, type DELETE in the confirmation field and click Delete Account. Your historical activity (audit logs, review cycle contributions, etc.) is retained for compliance purposes but will no longer be associated with an active login.

If you just need to change your access level or temporarily step away, contact your organization's Administrator instead of deleting your account.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change my login email?

No — your email is managed through your identity provider and cannot be changed within Evenpay. Contact your IT administrator if you need to update your login email.

Can I change my own role in Evenpay?

No. Your role is assigned by your organization's Administrator or Owner. If you need a different level of access, contact whoever manages Evenpay in your organization.

What does the Salary Display Mode affect?

It controls how salaries are shown to you across the entire application — whether figures appear as monthly or annual amounts. It's a personal display preference only and doesn't change any underlying data or affect what other users see.

I've set up MFA but I've lost access to my authenticator. What should I do?

Contact your organization's Administrator. They can reset your MFA configuration so you can set it up again with a new device.
