Early Access: turn this on in Settings β†’ Organization β†’ Early access (Policies (policy generator)).

Policies help you write down how your organisation sets pay, progression and starting salaries, so employees can see the criteria as the Directive requires.

Who can do this: Administrators create and manage policies. Managers can view them.

Where: Compliance β†’ Policies.

Create a policy from a template

  1. Select New policy.

  2. Choose a template: Remuneration, Pay equity and transparency, Salary progression, Career Development and Promotion, or Recruitment and Starting Salary. Templates are available in English and Finnish.

  3. Answer the questions in the Interview panel. Your answers fill in the document.

  4. Edit the text. Use Rewrite with AI on a section if you want a new draft of it.

  5. Select Set active when the policy is ready.

Live blocks

Policies can include live blocks for Job Grades, Pay Bands and the Career Ladder. They stay in sync with your data in Evenpay. You can convert a live block to static text if you want to freeze it.

Versions

  • Save version keeps a snapshot.

  • Version history lists earlier versions; Restore this version brings one back.

  • Export PDF downloads the policy.

Upload your own policy

Select Upload policy to add an existing document: PDF, DOC or DOCX, up to 25 MB. Uploaded policies also keep versions.

Good to know

  • You can't activate a policy until every placeholder in it has been filled in.

  • AI writing may not be available in every environment. If so, you see "AI writing is not configured for this environment".
