When your employer answers your pay information request, you receive an email with a secure link to your report.

Open your report

  1. Select the link in the email.

  2. On Verify Your Identity, enter the six-digit code sent to your email. If it doesn't arrive, select Send New Access Code.

  3. Select View Pay Information.

The report is titled Your Pay Information and shows when the link expires.

What's in the report

Your employer chooses the sections. Most reports include:

  • Position Summary: your position and comparison group.

  • Pay Band: your pay compared with the group's median or mean, for example "+x% more than group".

  • Salary Components: the parts that make up your pay.

  • Pay Factors: the criteria your employer uses to set pay.

  • Gender Comparison: average monthly pay of women and men in your comparison group.

Some employers also include your position description, salary history, job grades, the company pay gap, or a personal note.

You see Link Expired. Links are valid for a limited time, 24 hours by default. You can't renew the link yourself: contact your HR team and ask them to send it again.

Good to know

  • The comparison only includes groups large enough to protect colleagues' privacy. If the gender breakdown isn't shown, the group was too small.

  • If you receive a newer link, older links stop working.

  • Questions about the figures? Ask your HR team. Evenpay can't answer questions about your pay.
