Clear or delete your organisation

Where: Settings → Organization → General → Organization Management

These are destructive actions with different scopes, described below. Review the affected data and selected organisation before confirming. A downloaded snapshot can only be imported into the same existing organisation; the snapshot feature cannot recreate a deleted organisation or import its data into a replacement organisation. If an organisation has been deleted, contact Evenpay support as soon as possible. Support may be able to recover it within 30 days of deletion, depending on available backups and technical conditions. Recovery is best-effort, not guaranteed. After 30 days, recovery through this process is not available. If recovery could be necessary, discuss it with support before deleting the organisation. Backups also exclude access grants, the entity tree and entity settings, and integration connection and mapping configuration. Review the snapshot workflow before relying on backups (see Backups and restores).

  • Clear All Data: removes employees, positions and analytics, so you can start again with the same organisation and settings.

  • Clear Structure: removes job grades, levels and career paths. It only works once no employees, positions or pay bands remain.

  • Delete Organization: deletes the organisation, including all users' Copilot conversation histories from the application. Type the organisation's name to confirm. Copies of Copilot conversations may remain temporarily in backups under the applicable retention processes; deletion from the application is not immediate erasure from every backup.

Good to know

  • After an organisation is deleted, its audit log is kept for 30 days and then removed. To have it removed sooner, contact support@evenpay.io.
