Users are the people who sign in to Evenpay. Each user has one of three roles: Administrator, Manager or Employee. See Roles: what Administrators, Managers and Employees see.
Who can do this: Administrators.
Where: Settings β Organization β Users & roles
Invite a user
In Team Members, select Invite Member.
Enter the Email Address.
If your organisation uses entities, choose the Entity, or keep Whole organization.
Choose the Role.
Optionally add a Message (Optional).
Select Send Invitation.
You can send an invitation to any email address. The invitation is tied to that email address, and the recipient must sign in or sign up with the same address to accept it.
Manage pending invitations
Under Pending Invitations you can:
Resend the email.
Copy link to share the invitation with the intended recipient another way. The link remains tied to the invited email address and can only be accepted by signing in or signing up with that address.
Revoke the invitation.
Change a user's role
Open the β¦ menu next to the user and choose Edit Role.
Choose the new role and select Update Role.
Remove a user
Open the β¦ menu and choose Remove User.
Confirm. This can't be undone; to give the person access again, invite them again.
Good to know
Invitations expire after 7 days.
You can't invite someone who already has a pending invitation or is already a member.
You can't change your own role or remove yourself.
The primary owner can't be removed or demoted until they hand the role over. See The primary owner.
Removing a user removes their access. It doesn't delete their employee record.
To give someone access to a single entity, see Giving people access to entities.
