Benchmarks let you compare your pay with market data. Evenpay doesn't include market data itself: you import data from the salary surveys you already buy.

Who can do this: Administrators.

Where: Settings β†’ Compensation β†’ Benchmarks.

Create a dataset

  1. Select Add Dataset and choose the Provider: Mercer, Radford, Korn Ferry, Willis Towers Watson, Aon, or Custom.

  2. Choose the dataset's currency and its Effective Date, then select Create Dataset.

Import the data

  1. On the dataset, select Import Data and download the template.

  2. Fill in your survey data. P50 is required; P25 and P75 are optional. Set the Pay Period to Annual, Monthly or Hourly.

  3. Upload the CSV and go through Upload, Map Fields and Import.

  4. To replace an earlier import, turn on Replace existing data.

Map benchmarks to your jobs

Open a job level or a position and select Configure Benchmark. Choose one of:

  • Inherit from Job Level

  • Match by Level

  • Match by Position Title

Where benchmarks are used

  • Market benchmark cards and the market ratio in the positions list.

  • Copilot answers about market pay and offer recommendations.

Good to know

  • You can activate, deactivate, preview or permanently delete a dataset.

  • Keep the effective date current, so it's clear how old the market data is.
