Small groups and suppression
How reports hide figures for groups too small to show without identifying people.

When a group in a report has very few people, its pay figures could reveal what individuals earn. Article 12 of the Directive requires you to protect personal data, so Evenpay hides, or suppresses, figures for small groups.
Where: Pay Equity β Reports β Settings β Data Protection (Art. 12)
How it works
Set Minimum group size for reporting. A group with fewer people is suppressed.
A group is also suppressed if either gender has fewer than 2 people.
Suppressed figures show as -.
Turn on Show suppressed indicator to mark suppressed cells clearly, so readers know a figure was hidden rather than missing.
Good to know
For the auditor report, a minimum group size of 10 is recommended, and Evenpay warns you below that.
Elsewhere in Evenpay, other privacy minimums apply, such as the anonymity threshold for pay information requests. See Why is a figure blank or "Too few people to show"? in Troubleshooting & FAQ.
A higher minimum protects privacy better but hides more of your data. Keep the threshold high enough that no one can be identified. Lower values show more detail but make it easier to identify individuals.
