This article explains how pay equity analysis, merit cycles and pay transparency reports work when your organisation uses entities.
Pay equity analysis
In an entity's view, analysis shows that entity's own baseline run: its adjusted gap, drivers and insights. An entity that has no run yet shows nothing, rather than the group's figures.
Scenarios belong to the view they were created in. Entity administrators run their own; group scenarios can span entities.
Compare within each entity is on automatically once you have two or more entities. With it on, equal-value groups only compare employees within the same entity. The group can turn this off.
Business entity can be used as a pay factor in the adjusted gap. It is off by default.
In the Group view, you can filter the analysis by entity, and the Pulse figures on your Home page can be scoped to a single entity under Entities.
Merit cycles
A merit cycle belongs to the view it was created in. Its participants come from that entity and the entities below it. The cycles list shows an Entity column.
Pay transparency reports
In the Group view, use the Entity picker to report on one entity and the entities below it. "Whole group" is the default.
The adjusted gap is only shown when the active scenario covers exactly that entity.
In an entity's view, the report covers only that entity.
If an analysis was run before your entities were set up, run it again to report on a single entity.
