The EU Pay Transparency Directive requires you to compare the pay of women and men doing the same work or work of equal value. Evenpay puts employees into work of equal value groups (also called cohorts) and calculates the gap inside each one. These groups drive alerts, explanations and reports.

Choose how employees are grouped
Under Group employees by:, pick one mode:
In Custom mode you can combine position fields (Position, Job Level, Job Family, Job Grade, Career Path), position custom fields with options, employee fields such as country, city, worksite, contract type, education level and nationality, and employee custom fields. All selected fields must match.
Before you save, a preview shows how many groups would be created and how many employees would be left without a group.
Seeing your groups
The Work of Equal Value section on Pay Equity β Overview lists every group, its gap and its status. Select a group to open its summary, its pay equity tasks and the Gap Rationalization bar, which shows how much of the gap has been explained, closed, is pending or is still open.
On a position's page, Equal value positions lists the positions in the same group.
Good to know
A group is too small to compare when it has fewer people than the minimum group size, or only one gender. The summary shows how many groups are too small.
Job evaluation scores feed grades, so grade-based modes reflect your evaluations. See the Job evaluation collection.
With two or more entities, each group only contains employees of one entity, unless the group turns Compare within each entity off.
A scenario can use a different grouping from the organisation default, which lets you test a change first. See Scenarios: model changes and go live.
Don't use nationality to define work of equal value. Under the Directive, work of equal value is assessed on skills, effort, responsibility and working conditions.
