Reviewing, approving and rejecting a request
Find open requests, check readiness and approve or reject them before the deadline.

When a channel needs manual review, each request waits for an administrator. Review the employee's data, then approve the request to deliver the report or reject it with a reason.
Who can do this: Administrators
Where: the Pay Information Requests card on Home, the Pay Info Requests filter on the Employees list, and the employee's Pay Information Request tab
Find open requests
The Home card lists open requests by deadline, labelled Due today, Due in 5d or Overdue by 2d, with a status such as Needs review or Ready to deliver.
On the Employees list, filter Pay Info Requests by Pending.
An employee with a pending request shows a banner on their profile.
Review and decide
Open the employee's Pay Information Request tab.
Check the readiness indicator. Comparison Group, Compensation Data, Gender Pay Equity and Pay Band each show Ready, Review or Attention.
Look at the Report Preview.
Select Approve Request, optionally with a message. Eligibility is checked again, then the report is delivered.
Or select Reject Request and give a reason. The employee is notified.
If you rejected by mistake, select Move to Review to put the request back to pending review.
Good to know
Fix data problems flagged as Attention before approving, so the report is accurate.
A rejection still counts as a response. Employees have a right to this information under the Directive. If you reject a request, record the reason and check it with your legal adviser.
Request History and Delivery History on the tab show every request and delivery, with delivery statuses Sent, Viewed, Expired and Revoked.
Sending a new report to the same employee replaces their earlier links.
