Each channel decides whether requests are approved automatically, how long you have to respond, how long the delivered link stays valid and how often an employee can ask again.

Who can do this: Administrators

Approval Strategy

  • Auto-approve all requests: every eligible request is delivered straight away.

  • Manual review required (default): an administrator approves or rejects each request.

  • Risk-based (auto-approve low risk): requests are approved automatically unless there is a signal worth a look, such as the employee being a salary outlier or a gender pay gap in their group.

  • The cooldown counts from the last approval. During it, the employee can't submit a new request and you can't send them a new report.

  • The response deadline drives the due dates shown on the Home card. The Directive allows two months; some national laws require less, so check your country's rules.

  • Link expiry is how long the employee can open the delivered report. Once it expires, they can't renew it themselves.

Good to know

  • Under Delivery & Notifications, you can send a confirmation email for requests that need manual review, edit the delivery email, and choose Also send the report to the employee's manager (off by default).

  • Auto-approved requests get the delivery email straight away.

  • Approval re-checks eligibility, so a request can still be refused at approval if something has changed.
