How pay information requests work
The end-to-end flow from an employee's request to the delivered pay information report.

Under the EU Pay Transparency Directive (Article 7), employees have the right to ask for their own pay level and the average pay levels, broken down by gender, of employees doing the same work or work of equal value. You must answer within two months. Evenpay handles the whole process: the request, the checks, the report and the secure delivery.
The flow
The employee asks. They open your organisation's request portal, verify their work email with a 6-digit code and submit a request. They don't need an Evenpay account. See Asking your employer for pay information in the For employees collection.
Evenpay checks eligibility. The employee must be active and have a position, have no open request and be outside the cooldown period, and their comparison group must be large enough.
Approval. Depending on the channel's approval strategy, the request is approved automatically or waits for an administrator. See Approval, deadline and cooldown settings.
Delivery. Evenpay generates the report and emails the employee a secure link. They open it with a second code sent by email.
Where you see requests
The Pay Information Requests card on your Home page, sorted by deadline.
The Pay Info Requests column and filter on the Employees list.
The Pay Information Request tab on the employee's profile.
Request statuses
Submitted, auto-approved, pending manual review, approved, delivered, rejected and expired. A request is open until it is delivered, rejected or expires.
Good to know
The response deadline is 60 days by default. The Directive requires an answer within two months at the latest, and some countries set a shorter limit, so check your national rules and adjust the deadline in Settings β Pay equity & transparency β Pay information requests.
You can also send pay information without a request. See Sending pay information without a request, or to an employee representative.
Only administrators can manage requests.
