Skills, certificates, performance ratings and education levels describe your people. Evenpay uses them in pay factors, merit cycle rules and analysis.
Who can do this: Administrators.
Where: Settings β People & data β Competence & performance.
Skills
Organise skills into categories. Select Load Default Skills to start from Evenpay's list, or Add skill to add your own.
Level definitions describe what each skill level means. You can override them per category or per skill.
The Competency Scale sets the levels used for skills. Turn on Consider in Pay Factors to make skills available to pay equity analysis.
Certificates
Add certificates with categories and issuers. Set Expiration (months) if a certificate must be renewed.
Performance rating scale
The Performance Rating Scale defines the ratings managers use in performance reviews. Ratings feed merit cycle rules and the Performance column on merit worksheets.
Education levels
Each entry in Education Levels has an Analytics value, which is used in pay equity analysis when education is a pay factor.
How skill fit is calculated
Skill fit is the share of a position's required skills that an employee meets, weighted by the required level and rounded down.
Optional skills don't count.
A position with no required skills has no skill fit.
Add required skills to a position on its Requirements tab. See Creating and managing positions.
Good to know
Skills and certificates can be imported from a CSV file.
Employees can see their own skills on the Competence tab of their profile.
