The Cost of Salary Adjustments section estimates what it would cost to raise the pay of underpaid employees until gaps fall to a given level. Use it to size a budget before you plan adjustments.

The cost tiles
Cost to 0%, 2.5%, 5% and 10%: the cost to bring gaps down to that level.
Cost to solve Work of Equal Value alerts: the cost to close the gaps in groups that have alerts.
Each figure has a With rationales variant, which leaves out differences you have already explained with pay rationale tags. It shows the cost if your documented reasons hold up. If you aren't sure they would, plan with the full figure.
Good to know
Closing the gaps inside work of equal value groups doesn't necessarily close your overall unadjusted gap. The overall gap also reflects how women and men are spread across positions and levels.
The estimates use your current analysis. Run the analysis again after you change pay data.
To test specific adjustments and see their effect, use a draft scenario. See Scenarios: model changes and go live.
