These settings decide how Evenpay presents your pay gap figures across the app. They change how results are displayed, so you don't need to run the analysis again after changing them.

  • Both calculation methods are always calculated and stored; this setting picks which one is shown.

  • The headline statistic applies to the mean-based method only.

  • The reference group is the pay the gap is expressed against. With men's pay as the reference, a 5% gap means women earn 5% less than men.

Stricter privacy thresholds

Turn on Stricter privacy thresholds to require at least 10 employees per group, instead of 5, before a pay gap is shown.

Good to know

  • The sign never changes which alerts fire, because thresholds compare the size of the gap. The reference group and headline statistic change the size, so they can change alerts.

  • Pay information request channels and report templates can override these settings for their own output.

  • With two or more entities, the page also has Entities set their own convention and Compare within each entity. See the Group & entities collection.
