Session limits sign people out after a period of inactivity, and after a maximum time even if they're active. This protects pay data on shared or unattended computers.
Who can do this: Administrators.

What users see
When a session ends, the sign-in page explains why:
"You were signed out after a period of inactivityβ¦"
"Your session reached its maximum ageβ¦"
They simply sign in again.
Good to know
Someone who belongs to several organisations gets the strictest limits of all their organisations.
Sign-ins and sign-outs, including the reason, are recorded in the audit log.
