View Access shows what a single user can reach in Evenpay. Use it when someone says they can't see something, or to check that sensitive pay data is only visible to the right people.

Who can do this: Administrators.

Where: Settings β†’ Organization β†’ Users & roles β†’ … next to a user β†’ View Access

What the panel shows

  • Assigned Role: the user's role in the organisation.

  • Sensitive Data Access: whether they can see compensation and pay bands.

  • Org Unit Scope and Employee Scope: how many organisation units and employees they can reach.

  • Effective Capabilities: each thing they can do, with its scope and where it comes from.

  • Denied Capabilities: what they can't do.

  • Entity access: roles in individual entities, if your organisation uses entities.

Good to know

  • A manager's reach comes from the organisation units they manage and their reporting line. If a manager can't see someone, check the person's manager and organisation unit. See Job families and organisation units.

  • Roles are fixed; you can't create custom roles. To change what someone can do, change their role or their entity access.

  • To review everyone's access at once, see Running an access review.
