You can export your data from Evenpay at any time, one area at a time or all together.
Who can do this: Administrators.
Where: Settings β People & data β Data management β Export
Export one area
Choose what to export: Employees, Positions, Job Levels, Job Families, Org Units, Evaluation Framework, Survey Results, Analytics Snapshot, Pay Information Requests or User Access.
Choose the Export Format: CSV or JSON.
For CSV, choose the Column Separator: comma, semicolon or tab. If you open the file in Excel with Finnish or other European settings, semicolon usually works best.
Turn on Include Derived Data to add calculated values such as tenure and compa-ratio.
Download.
Export everything
Export everything creates a ZIP file with the areas you choose and a manifest file. If one area fails, the manifest says which.
Export employment history
Select Request export under Export Employment History. The file is prepared in the background and you get an email with a link. The file is removed after 7 days. The layout matches the employment history import, so you can correct and re-import it.
Other exports
The Employees list exports what you see, with your filters: Import / Export β Export to CSV.
One person's data: see Archiving and deleting employees, and GDPR data export.
Audit log: see The audit log.
Good to know
CSV files are UTF-8, so special characters open correctly.
Cells that start like a spreadsheet formula get an apostrophe in front, so they can't run as formulas.
Analytics, survey results and user access cover the whole organisation, so they need organisation-wide access. Employment history is exported from the group view if you use entities.
Exports aren't anonymised. Handle the files as personal data.
