Quick setup walks you through the essentials: bringing in your data, setting up job levels, deciding how employees are compared, and running your first analysis.
Who can do this: Administrators.
Where: On an empty Home page, select Start quick setup. You can run it again later from Settings β Organization β General β Compliance Setup (Start Setup or Run Again).
The steps
Bring your data in. Download a CSV template for Employees, Positions, Skills or Certificates, fill it in and upload it. You can connect an HR system later under Settings β People & data β Integrations.
Set up job levels & grades. Detect them from your data, or build them yourself.
Equal work comparison. Choose how employees doing work of equal value are grouped, for example by Job level + job family. See Work of equal value groups.
Fix the rows that didn't import. Only shown if some rows failed.
Generate pay bands. Optional.
You're all set! Choose Save & run first analysis or Save settings only.
Optional steps have Skip for now. The progress bar shows which step you're on.
After setup
When you finish, you're taken to Pay Equity. Next steps:
Review the results. See Running your first pay equity analysis.
Activate your baseline so alerts start working. See Activating your baseline (why there are no alerts yet).
Invite your colleagues. See Inviting, changing and removing users.
Good to know
A pay equity analysis needs at least 20 employees.
